Nb RAMYSHOME

Saturday 24th July 2010.  OXFORD   The upper Thames trip now complete we take leave of the River for a few weeks as we head north up the Oxford Canal.

Our destination is Cropredy and the Fairport Convention Festival which gets underway on Thursday 12th August.  We have been warned to get there early for a mooring close to the site so our aim is to be there by 2nd August.  That will give us 10 days to explore the area and, if the weather allows, give Ramyshome a little touch up.  Before then we shall head slowly up to Banbury during the coming week.

Having hopefully enjoyed a pleasant, DRY event we slip our moorings on 15th August for the run south again through Oxford and on downstream to the IWA Show at Beale Park, Pangbourne which starts on Saturday 28th August.

We will colour our map to highlight where we are, where we expect to be in the short term and all the waterways we hope to visit this year.

As always we remain open to visitors, family & friends  So if ever we come close by you or if you want to head in our direction then you will be warmly welcomed on board Ramyshome.  Just give us a few hours warning so we can tidy up!
