On 28th April 2010 we set out on a big adventure, exploring the waterways of England.  But this is not a new adventure for us.  For the 28 months commencing May 2005 we travelled the canals and rivers of England and a little bit of Wales.  You can read about our journey by clicking on the Seasons buttons below.  On the "We are here" page is a map of the whole system.

We will also upload photos of what we have seen and places we have visited, these can be viewed on the 'photo gallery' page.  The "Autumn 07" button takes you to our New Zealand page where you can read all about our special trip and view some non-canal pictures. 

"Winter 07" continues our story as the crew get used to a life less travelled and "2008" takes that story on whilst we lived and worked on the Kennet & Avon Canal.  

For the first three or so years of Nb Ramyshome's life she was based at Barton Turns Marina on the Trent & Mersey Canal.  From there we ventured forth as far as Macclesfield, the East Midlands ring & the Ashby Canal.  We have been members of the Royal Bank of Scotland Inland Waterways Club for many years & joined the Residential Boat Owners Club & River Canal Rescue - just in case!
